cd to dxserver/bin

Stop all DSA agents in the cluster

cd to dxserver/bin

Stop all DSAs

Repeat this for all the servers in the cluster


Cleanup and Backup

cd to the logs folder

delete all logs

backup the config folder

Rename

cd to the config folder

cd to the servers folder

rename the dxi folder for the dsa to be renamed

Open the dxi file

update the filenames in the knowledge section to reflect the new server names

cd to config/knowledge

Rename the knowledge files appropriately.

Open the knowledge file for the DSA on this server

edit the set dsa line to reflect the new dsa name

Repeat this for each knowledge file related to this DSA

cd to config/autostart

rename the dsa

cd dxserve/data

rename the db and tx files for the DSA

Start the DSA

Stop the dsa

Repeat the process for the other servers in the cluster.
