Motive

The attacker must have some form of motive.

Technology

The attacker must have the technical capability to launch the attack.

Opportunity

The attacker must by in a position to launch the attack.

  • Technology - Make systems technically complex.
  • Opportunity - Use a principle of least privilege, remove unnecessary systems data or unused accounts.
