Garage G (International) Monitoring Setup

  1. Spotting Location: Drive up to Level 8 (Roof) and park along the northeast or east perimeter wall. This gives you an unobstructed line of sight down the 28 approaches, the taxiways, and the Terminal G gate gates.
  2. Scanner Reception: From the open roof deck, you are no longer limited by distance or terrain. You will have full, clear two-way reception of both the controllers and the aircraft across all phases:
    • 133.950 MHz (NorCal Arrival)
    • 134.500 / 128.325 MHz (NorCal Vectors/Final)
    • 120.500 MHz (SFO Tower)
    • 121.800 MHz (SFO Ground)
    • 131.000 MHz (United / SFO Ramp - Terminal G alley)
  3. Flight Tracker Cue: When checking FlightAware or FlightRadar24 while en route, watch for UA190 descending through FL240 (24,000 ft) offshore west of Marin County. That descent point signals that NorCal contact is about 5 minutes away.
